Purely Lit. Book Reviews

Literature is a social experience, if not directly, it providing a view into an emotional outlet through speculation. I enjoy sharing what’s good or passable and my goal is to give an honest, straight-forward opinion (which will conclude my reviews), and hope it aids others in deciding exceptional books to read, and how some differ to the music, film, and TV shows they inspire. I also choose the book covers according to which I’ve actually held in my hands. It’s my light, artsy-related compulsion; maybe I took Reading Rainbow seriously as a child, I did enjoy it.

I try to leave out what might be considered spoilers, but I’m also using this as a forum for those who may want to reminisce upon certain aspects of the great stories read, so this is more upon my (h)whim. Plus, some of these posts are detailed, this partially in case I wish to harken back to something in particular; selfish, yes. So, most posts may be deemed skimmable.

Also, the Book List below, is not only in alphabetical order, but in order of chronology for those in a series, otherwise, it’s in the order of reading. My aim is to make it easier to decide which novels should be struggled through, whilst I dredge through the cumbersome books which leaves something to be desired.
