Brother Christopher is feeling optimistic as he drives through the night, it 12 hrs since his escape, and heading west, believing he was too far off to be caught. Meanwhile, Coyote bids rabbit to stop running, since he was wiped and only wanted to ask a q, but he falling off some crumbly dirt into a street. Rabbit provides an answer to the affirmative about White-buffalo woman, then he asks if he should go East or West, Sister owl replying East. Coyote goes with it, thinking he was seeing the sunrise, and asking Father sun where White-buffalo woman is, but he not getting a reply, Brother Christopher hitting him, skidding to a halt, and getting out, his bod achy.

He q's what he'd hit, hearing Coyote plead q'ingly why White-buffalo woman didn't help him locate her, he smelling her. Brother Christopher walks up and suggests Coyote take it easy, Coyote asking who he was as he was bent over relocating and popping in his eye, to Brother Christopher's horror, rightly. Coyote compliments the car as Brother Christopher tries to steady his brain, he feeling like when the drugs which were used on him had been upped too much, Coyote q'ing Brother Christopher on where his ma was, he unable to say, Coyote wondering if he could see through his 4th world costume. So, he shows his coyote head, and again bids him tell where White-Buffalo woman was, Brother Christopher stating he back off, Coyote turning back to normal, and guesses why he'd lie, or if it was to make his power grow, wondering if White-Buffalo woman was hiding behind rocks and shit. Brother Christopher finally confesses what he'd been living through, and trying to find his mother.

Coyote now grasps the enormity of what the enemy'd done, and realized White-Buffalo woman hadn't gotten the chance to reveal his true identity, so Coyote explains who his mother is, her power, and obv a terrible thing having occurred for her to leave him there. Coyote proclaims he was Snot-Boy and also had great power, he able to start eh 5th world where the land'd be pure and their enemies kicked out. When Brother Christopher inquires how he could know this, and like every plant knowing to rise toward the sun, Coyote knew what he knew, but he being confused by smelling White-Buffalo woman so strongly, Brother Christopher confessing how he'd obtained his ride, and this helping Coyote deduce her whereabouts. When Brother Christopher realizes he had to return, Coyote holds him back by reminding she was stuck there, for now, and they should gameplan.

Brother Christopher shares why he'd chosen to head for L.A. being due to an address in the glove-box, Coyote impressed with his senses. He then states they should start moving if they wanted to maintain their lead, then relates of he being called Father Craft should anyone ask, Coyote wanting Brother Christopher to tell him how to turn the car on. Meanwhile Cody's got a nauseating headache as he listens to an officer relate how he'd discovered his car, and he already knowing who Brother Christopher was, the officer stating the older fella kept babbling and moving about, raving of ghost dance and buffalo women. Cody is able to share of the ghost dance part making sense, the other officer relating how people've been bringing the stuff onto mtns and having illegal parties.

They relate as to how now it was all races and all ages, as opposed to how easy it was to catch a hippy for mostly being white, be-beaded, long-haired druggies. This Indian fella being difficult to picture, but wearing an old-timey outfit and only had 1 eye. The officer was creeped out by him, and because he wouldn't stand still, and talking strangely, he cuffs him to a speed sign, and calls for assistance, but only has time to move out of the way, as Coyote drives the car off, having ran over the cop's bike first. Not until discovering the hand did he realize how Coyote'd got free, it not looking like a hand anymore, and the officer believing they thought him mad.

Cody supports how it's crazier times these days, the officer learning the last place they'd been seen was near Laurel Cyn, Cody not needing directions, since he resided nearby. Coyote is currently peering over a fence from atop the car, and wondering how he'd get past the guard as Brother Christopher q's why he'd chewed his hand off, Coyote explaining it was a painful, but better fate then being caught. Coyote then lands on the idea of Brother Christopher should drum, so Coyote could dance, and upon implementing this, Brother Christopher feels calmer, it matching his heartbeat. From inside, Marv the guard gets such a panic attack for sensing crazed Indians being after him, he realizes the $200 from his co-workers hadn't been worth this terror, shooting himself in the face as Brother Christopher and Coyote hop the gate, and after seeing the dead guard, Brother Christopher asks what they should do, Coyote wanting to locate White-Buffalo woman, and upon his confusion, since they knew she was elsewhere, Coyote states of she being everywhere, Brother Christopher thinking he isn't making sense, which makes Coyote define sense being to bind the world, and non-sense freeing it, and supplying wings for it to soar.

Brother Christopher then gets Coyote to explain what the 4th and 5th worlds were, the 4th bieng the 1 they were on and the 5th rejoining the good people with the animals, and the ghost dance being the way to have the enemies darkness be wiped from the erf. Coyote discovers the room Brother Christopher's mother'd been living in for years, and when Brother Christopher inquires why they'd do this, Coyote explains how this is how they dealt with creatures they couldn't murder, instead draining their power. Coyote hopes this time the ghost dance'd succeed, it never stopping its resistance. Coyote then tells of the drug only being a ruse to open the mind and know the world wasn't as dark as it seemed. He goes on to differentiate of this ghostdance being different from the Native American Church's ghostdance.

Coyote offers the drink to Brother Christopher, who declines for having been medicated recently enough, Coyote agreeing it's better to discover his power "the old ways" 1st, but could also convince people to try the drink by showing them 1st hand. Coyote then detects they'd been discovered, he choosing a door, and disturbing a girl, they seeing she was bound up, offerring to help steal Cody's shit, also revealing how original Brother Christopher was in wanting to reunite with his mother, when losing her own was taking a lifetime. Cody was currently sensing worrisome vibes, especially with the people they'd seen on their way to his place, a cashier having a sip of Coyote's jug and leaving without shutting the register, and the others being a bunch of jokester truckers, some of them having pooped their pants. Cody specifies to leave the boy alive, but Coyote was free game, he calling out for Brother Christopher to come out, his ma able to finally see his for feeling a bit better.

The girl calls of he being bullshit, and offers to show him an alt. exit, Coyote giving him his jug, advising he drink when he thought it was needed, and he hoping they'd take him to White-Buffalo woman, so'd wait for Cody, who felt a tremor in the air, and Coyote coming at him as it begins, in his dog head form, but getting shot at, turned back, laying there. His men report to losing Brother Christopher, but note of Cody's win, they inspecting Coyote's bod, when he wakes after 3 shots to the heart, he asking if they were planning to pop more off at him, and what they thought of the quake. Still giving the goods; quite an entertaining short comic. To the next bit!
