NeverBoy #3
By Shaun Simon

True to his word, NB shows the diner to Drag, who is mesmerized, but NB reminds him of the truth to what Vanessa'd said, so Drag takes NB to get his drugs. Upon taking the dose, NB turns back into his former character, who is being told by his psychiatrist to he and his wife of they being imaginary figments, and the idea of running from his true feelings about his human dying is keeping him stuck, but Rachel, his wife needs time to come to terms with her imagined role, NB scoring again, and his "host" seeing the mechanic fortuneteller at a fair, whilst Drag paints a canvas in an alley. This 1 sells and now the guy is ready for Drag to churn em out. Meanwhile, Rachel is getting shit advice and empathy from her gfs, who were all going through some form of dishonesty from their hobbies.
When Rachel sees NB and he assures of having enough pills for now, she decides to keep going along, they going to a park with Ben. Drag tracks him down and offers enough meds to last him til Ben's out of college if he gets him back to the diner, which NB couldn't pass up, so does, and before leaving Drag, takes his car per Drag's wishes, telling him to remember reason, so he didn't blink out imagination. When he gets back to the park, Rachel has left a note on a bench detailing of wanting a divorce, and to stay medicated if he wanted to keep seeing Ben. Daang, this is some melodrama!
