Astro City: On the Sidelines #4
By Kurt Busiek

Ms. Marth 'Sully' Sullivan is at the Millrace in Astro City, having breakies, and finishing only finished working on a film recently, so relaxing. Sully doesn't like her waiter, he turning out to be advocating for his boss regarding a business deal for her, she way the hell uninterested, since this always went through her secretary. The man attempts to insist, then gives her the old, you'll rue the deal, spiel Sully no longer happy with her breakies experience. In Sully's past, which was confusing, since she calls herself flicking, Mattie, is telekinetic, and in the 60s, scares herself when she experiments with becoming a superhero.
She tries going "evil", but it also doesn't click, so now she's stuck serving the Majordomo, his men getting used to his power trip, as well. She goes to Los Angeles after college, and ends up helping out a guy she knew from bartending, with the film he's creating, helping make shit float, and whatnot; this type of work suits her. Back in Sully's imprisonment, she gets help from outside from Magda, who Majordomo hadn't located.
This gives Sully the chance to confront him with her back up, and after Magda gives her a ride back in her flying model T, she's met at her breakies table at the Millrace by a super. They cat about how everything had ended with Majordomo, and the hope supervillains didn't keep assuming the bi-partisan supers as pushovers, and knew they could still handle themselves despite not heroing around. It's ok, I'm good on this, now.
