The city's crumbling and 1 small boy imagines himself a superhero to save him, he gets reassured as Drag peeps him and states of wishing to paint him, not waiting for permission, and leaves poor little Johnny to runaway from his now fire spitting monster. Drag allows Rach and Ben to pass, due to looking normal, Vanessa helping some nearby kids by creating the places they imagined they'd rather see. NB gets to Drag and tries to remind him of his own inspirations rather than jacking other peoples, Ben and Rach walking around the corner, and NB warning Drag to leave them be. Fantasy Girl, Vanessa is unable to keep the kids fantasy from turning, and they see Ben and Rach huge and walking at them, she getting all the kids to run off.

NB joins Vanessa as she's running with the kids, he stopping Ben from hurting some people he'd picked up. After Ben picks NB up, he apologizes to the massive boy, with dead eyes for everything which happened, he jumps down, and swats the paintbrush from Drag, offering himself up as his newest muse, since he'd seen him from the start. Vanessa notices all the newly changed imaginaries have returned to normal, she going off to confront NB, who admits he was ready to finish what he'd been running from with Sam's death. NB departs with some philosophical optimism of seeing the true nature of what's in the world, Ben and Rach back in their billboard, now.

As Vanessa readies to take care of her next client, NB greets her with some Diner peeps tagging along, revealing he was working with the Ministry of Imagination for anything trying to come through the gate illegally. So, he'd be monitoring everyone at the Diner and was offering her to tag along, since he knew he'd been blinding himself for actually wanting to be with her, so they start in Japan, she ditching her job as the 2 discuss how Japan was more filled with fantasy than reality. Cleans up nice, but a little anticlimactically as most of the 6 issues tend to feel, but worth the fun ride and psychedelic art!
