The World of Pooh

Intro quickly provides origin for the name 'Pooh' having been given first to a swan by Christopher Robin, but he took the name when Edward Bear wanted an exciting name, so CR gave him Winnie-the-Pooh, but before getting too far, Piglet gets jealous about not being intro'd so, Narr declares whilst Pooh is the favorite, Piglet is in the whole book, but decides to begin, so everyone can be intro'd properly. CR comes downstairs with W-t-P's head bouncing the back of his noggin which made him incapacitated to think how there must be an easier way downstairs. CR then requests a story today about Pooh, since he's "that sort of Bear" to want to hear one about himself, and how CR agrees how Pooh's name made him sound female with being called Winnie, but it has to do with the "ther" = the, and it's all the explanation we get. So Narr agrees to try to tell a story "sweetly" regarding Pooh, per CR's request.

W-t-P lives in the forest, 'under the name of Sanders', which means a sign over the door in gold letters with the name on it, CR asking for Pooh. So, 1 day Pooh's out for a walk and he discovers a clearing with an oak in the center, he hearing buzzing at the top. It takes Pooh a bit of a think, but he comes to the conclusion, it must be bees, and they must've got honey. Plus, the only reason to make honey's for Pooh to eat it, so he promptly shimmies up the oak, and sings a couple songs to himself on the way up, but aims for a 3rd Complaining song when he uses a branch so close he could almost reach the bees, but the branch cracks, and down goes Pooh.

When Pooh makes it to land-upon-Gorse-bush, he recollects CR, who's put in awe by getting mentioned in the story. Pooh biffs it to CR's home in a different part of the forest, and asks whether he had a balloon 'about him', so's he could get some honey. CR lets Pooh choose the color, blue so he could try to pretend to be a dark cloud in the sky when the bees saw him from above. Upon testing, after Pooh'd rolled in a mud puddle to get darker, CR states he still looked like a bear from ground level, so Pooh supposed it could look different from the level of the bees.

After a little time though, Pooh whispers down to CR how it seems the bees were growing Suspicious, so suggests CR grab his umbrella and tut at the sky saying it looked like rain, so the bees'd buy it. CR refrains from laughing for not wanting to offend his buddy, and goes to grab his umbrella, and when Pooh's ready to sing a Cloud song, CR does as he's bid. After Pooh's song, he calls to CR, saying these were the wrong type of bees, which meant he didn't want this honey, and'd like to come down, since he'd already gotten stung, but not wanting to let go the balloon, requesting CR shoot the balloon. He misses the 1st shot, hitting Pooh, but the 2nd shot lands, and so does Pooh, gently on the ground, but his arms'd gotten stiff for being up there so long, and they stayed this way for a week, he having to blow flies off his nose, which may be how he'd gotten his name.

CR is satisfied with this, but makes sure he hadn't grievously injured Pooh when he'd shot him, before returning upstairs for his bath, also being assured there're other stories with his other friends and Pooh to remember.

Next, Pooh's humming a fresh tune he'd just this morning taught himself, whilst doing his Stoutness Exercises, and then perfects it on a stroll as he wonders what his buddies are up to, and then sees a hole upon reaching a sandy bank, and knew Rabbit'd be nearby with snacks, and he could continue humming. Pooh sticks his head in the hole, and calls to see if Rabbit's in, a darting about noise, then silence. Pooh calls again, and says no one's home, a go-between continuing til the voice, denying to be Rabbit, says he'd gone to Pooh's, Pooh stating he was right there. Upon hearing this, surprised it was Pooh, Rabbit invites him inside.

After stating how one must be careful who is invited into one's home in the forest, Rabbit offers Pooh a snack, which he excepts both honey, and condensed milk, but declines the bread, so as not to seem greedy, and after, shaking Rabbit's hand before continuing on his way. As Pooh goes thru the front door, he soon notices he's stuck. Rabbit comes out by the back door, and tries to help Pooh out, but he doesn't budge, Pooh admitting the door wasn't built big enough, but Rabbit clarifying it was more caused by Pooh eating too much, and he'd go inform CR. When CR sees Pooh in the door, the way he greets him with a loving, silly ole Bear, they feel there's hope, yet.

As CR talks though, Pooh isn't so happy to hear his option is to try to get pushed back inside, and or wait a week for him to slender up. Unfortunately, Pooh must wait a week, but CR reads to him a Sustaining Book, and then prepares to pull Pooh out with Rabbit and his relatives and friends helping to pull CR as he pulled Pooh loose, cork-like sound emitting when loose. Upon getting out and up, Pooh nods his thanks, and continues his walk, CR echoing his previous affectionate sentiment as Pooh goes.

Piglet lives in an elegant house in the center of a beech-tree, in the middle of the forest, and in the middle house. CR asks about a broken board next to Piglet's house having "Trespassers W" on it, Piglet revealing it's his g/pop's name, his full name William, CR dubious of someone's real name being this. Piglet tells how his G/fath was named after other relatives, and CR had two names like his g/pop so, it was ofc possible. On one pleasant winter day, Piglet is sweeping snow in the front of his house when he sees Pooh appear in front of him.

Pooh is walking in a circle deep in thought, Piglet calls to him, and asks what he's up to. Pooh states he's hunting, and shrouds it with more mystery by saying he was tracking something, but didn't know what, Piglet getting excited, and asking if it could be a Woozle, Pooh allowing they shouldn't rule it out. Piglet watches Pooh track until he stops, Piglet catching up, and asking what he'd found, Pooh seeing 2 sets of tracks now, and invites Piglet along in case they're Hostile Animals, Piglet agreeing due to the possibility it's a Woozle, or 2, and he'd no plans til Fri. The duo walk awhile as Piglet spoke of his G/pop's twilight years, and then Pooh sees the 2 sets have added a 3rd, and it could be a different sort of animal for making a different type of tracks, perhaps a Wizzle.

So, they continue on, the 2 becoming a bit more wary, and paranoid, Pooh wishing CR were there, since he liked him, and then he notices a 4th set of tracks. Now, Piglet is intimidated for remembering he must leave immediately for having to do something which couldn't wait he'd forgotten back home, Pooh offering to join him, but Piglet trying to make it so Pooh wouldn't be needed at the hour he required, then the 2 hear a whistle, Pooh looking up, and peeping CR in a tree, Piglet then using this as his way to biff off, and does with relief. CR climbs down the tree, and states what a silly ole Bear Pooh is, he having seen Piglet, and he following their own tracks 4x, Pooh then realizing and stating he'd been Foolish, and Deluded, a Bear with No Brain at All, but CR correcting him, being the Best Bear in All the World, Pooh optimistic, then states it's time for lunch, so goes off to handle it.

Eeyore, the Old Grey Donkey is on his own in a thistle part of the forest as he had deep thoughts, the Wherefore's and Why's, but is glad to see Pooh pass so he could gloomily ask after him. Pooh asks in turn and Eeyore states of being of it for awhile, Pooh asking for a closer look at him, and upon walking behind him, notices his tail is gone, E checking and coming to the same conclusion. E thinks someone must've snatched it, which wouldn't be surprising, and as Pooh hadn't anything useful to say, offers to locate E's tail. Pooh heads for the Hundred Acre Wood, planning to visit Owl, since he knew sumpin about sumpin.

Owl lives in the Chestnuts, which Pooh thought of as the most "grand" for having a knocker and bell-pull, instructions next to it with which to use for an "Rnser", CR having written them. Pooh uses both correctly and incorrectly, Owl coming to the door, and Pooh asking where he should look for E's tail. Before getting to what the "customary procedure" was, Pooh asks what the "Crustimoney Proseedcake" meant, Owl clarifying it's the Thing to Do, since long words Bother Bear. Owl talks of making a Reward, but Pooh thinks he'd sneezed when Owl'd said, "1st Issue", and then Pooh distracts himself by it being snack time, and not being offered any as Owl continues talking and Pooh no longer listening, but agreeing and disagreeing intermittently as Owl asks if he'd seen the signs, CR'd written for him.

Pooh is on his disagreeing auto-response, so Owl takes him to have a look, P now getting a better loo at the bell-rope, and how familiar it looked. P asks where Owl'd gotten his bell-pull, and upon hearing he'd found it on a bush, and upon thinking it's a bell, and pulling it, til it came off in his hand, he took it home for thinking no 1 wanted it, but P states Eeyore'd been quite attached to it. P takes the tail down and brings it back to E, CR nails it back on, and E waves his tail around happily, P eating celebratorily and sings of his success in returning E's tail.

P, CR, and Piglet are having lunch and chatting when CR says to Piglet specifically, he'd seen a Heffalump today. Piglet asks what it'd done, and CR responds it "lumped along", Piglet and P agreeing they'd maybe seen one before, which CR says they aren't often seen, and the duo agreeing with him, then leaving together after they'd finished eating, and chatting. As the 1 walk, they idly chat off and on when they're able to walk side by side. By the end of their journey, P states of deciding to catch a Heffalump.

P hopes Piglet asks how or anything where he could explain, but Piglet's thinking how he'd wished he'd come to this decision 1st, so P plows ahead and says he'd need Piglet's help to come up with a Cunning Plan, which eases Piglet's heart and accepts readily, the 2 now having to brainstorm. P decides a deep Pit is the answer to capturing a Heffalump, he explaining how when Piglet voices his concerns. P discourages himself, so asks how Piglet'd catch him, he saying he'd use honey, and P getting into how he'd slowly get at the honey pot trap. Piglet agrees then P should go and grab a jar as lure for the Heffalump, P reluctantly agreeing, but not leaving much honey upon taste-testing to make sure no cheese was hidden in it.

Piglet puts the nearly empty jar into the Pit, and they go back home together. Pig bids P g/night when getting back, and agreeing to meet up tomorrow at 6am. P requests Piglet bring string to lead them home with, Piglet suggesting 1 could whistle them to follow, but agrees and heads home. P goes to sleep and wakes up in the night wanting to quench his hunger, forgetting he'd put his honey pot in the trap and wondering where his honey got to in rhyme.

After saying his 2 verse poem 3 times to himself, he'd remembered the inconvenient trap. He goes back to bed to sleep unsuccessfully after counting sheep changed into Heffalumps eating honey 500x til P runs to the Six Pine Trees, and retrieves his honey pot. Piglet wakes not long after, and tries to rev himself up to go meet P in an hour, he trying to come up with ideas how to get out of it, and compromising with himself, he'd biff off back home if a Heffalump were caught, so leaves, and almost comes back once. When he gets nearer he hears what he believes is a Heffalump in the pit, and his curiosity gets him, he having a look, and seeing P, but registering Heffalump, since P let out a mournful howl at the perfect mo, Piglet running and shouting for help to CR's house, he saying the Heffalump's head looked like a huge jar when CR asks.

So, CR finishes dressing to go have a look. As they get closer, CR starts laughing when he sees P, who finally cracks the jar open on a root, Piglet so embarrassed, he runs home with a headache, and goes back to bed, whilst P and CR go to breakies, CR stating he loved P, and P agreeing he loved himself.

Eeyore is at the stream looking at himself in the water, and not liking what he saw, seeing if it was different from a different part of the stream, but isn't impressed. P comes out and greets him a g'morning, E saying the same before showing his pessimism for whether it truly was. E states they couldn't all stay chipper, which P struggles to understand, so sings Cottleston Pie to himself. E encourages P's singing glumly, P asking what was wrong, E stating nothing is, it's his b/day and couldn't P see the cake, and presents, which as P looks about, doesn't see either, E agreeing, neither did he, and he'd been joking.

E's acting so miserable, P tells him to stay where he is as he returned home quickly, seeing Piglet trying to reach a door knocker, so obliges for him, and updating him on E's condition, then invites Piglet inside when reminded he'd been knocking his own door. P grabs a small jar of honey, and urges Piglet to find a present, as well, he landing on giving E a balloon, so goes home to grab it as P returns on his long walk to E. On the way, he gets hungry, and eats the honey, not remembering it was a present til after finishing. So, P game plans a detour to Owl's house upon thinking of cleaning the pot and giving it to E to put Things In, and write A Happy Birthday on it.

Owl greets P, and P asks what he was going to give E on his b/day today, Owl asking him, which led to P being interrupted by Owl saying he should write A Happy B/day on the pot, which P agrees, and Owl bungling the job admirably, saying CR'd written the sign on his door, and so Owl'd tell P what he wrote, like CR had with him. It was a long enough scrawl to add a "with love from P". Meanwhile, Piglet rushes to E with his balloon hoping to get there 1st so it doesn't look like he had to be told of E's b/day, then trips in a rabbit hole, and pops the balloon upon falling face 1st. Piglet disorients himself enough to think he'd blown up at 1st, then upon getting up, wonders where the balloon is, and sees its small remnants, deflating himself a bit, and goes to give E his present.

When Piglet reaches E, he 1st surprises him by wishing him many happy returns, E using one of his hooves to push his ear forward to hear clearer. When he does this with his other ear, upon hearing Piglet'd gotten him a present, but it'd popped, E looks at it and asks its color, and size, Piglet saying red, and as big as him, E stating those were both his fave, and thanking him. P arrives and wishes him happy b/day again, before giving the pot. E gets excited, since his balloon'd fit inside, he placing and replacing the balloon inside, both P and Piglet happy they'd chosen to give what they had. CR asks if he'd gotten E anything, Narr agreeing, CR supplying he'd gotten him paints, Narr saying the reason he hadn't gotten it to E early is for preparing the cake and party, CR agreeing he'd been reminded.

Nobody seems to know where Kanga and Roo 1st came from, P asking CR, who says the Usual Way, which P accepts, and then goes to Piglet's who had Rabbit over, so the trio discussing this further. Rabbit is wary, since no one'd heard of their kind of animal before, and how odd it is she carried fam in her pocket. Rabbit wonders aloud what they'd do, perhaps stealing Baby Roo, and saying Aha when Kanga asks where he was. P practices this, then says they can Aha without taking Baby Roo, as well.

Rabbit states how the Aha will tell Kanga they knew where Roo is, and they should leave the forest when reunited. Piglet reminds Rabbit how CR'd said Kanga was 1 of the Fiercer Animals, so Aha may not work, Rabbit ignoring this as he writes a list, and says Piglet'd be Useful for being a Small Animal. This excites Piglet enough to forget his fear, and can't wait to start being of Use, esp knowing Kangas are only Fierce in winter. Rabbit states how P's help is tantamount for the plan to work, making Piglet a bit deflated, but P proud he's That sort of Bear, the duo listening to Rabbit's rundown of how vigilant Kanga is with Roo.

Rabbit's notes lead to a possible plan where Roo'd be replaced within Kanga's pouch by Piglet, who is about the same size, and P could distract Kanga as Rabbit ran off with Roo, if Roo decides to jump out of Kanga's pouch for some reason. The plan's making Piglet nervous about getting stuck saying Aha alone, and P not sure of what he'd chat about, but suggesting poetry, which Rabbit impatiently agrees with as he urges they look for Kanga. Kanga and Roo are at a sandy part of the forest, Roo practicing small jumps, and Kanga stating they were leaving after this last jump, P coming out and greeting her. Roo shows off his jump, and falls into a mouse hole.

P asks if Kanga liked poetry, which she didn't much, this stalling P. Rabbit and Piglet support P as he tries starting his poem, Kanga still looking at Roo. P gets through 4 verses, until Kanga calls for Roo, Rabbit nudging P, who quickly asks Kanga how poetry is like a tree right over there, it taking the trio of them to talk about whether it's a bird or a fish near the tree, and then wondering the type, Rabbit calling of helping Roo inside Kanga's pocket, she noticing he isn't there when she'd turned back from the tree behind her, and P covering for him and Piglet's vanishing. Kanga accepts his simple reasoning of they having remembered they need to do something or other, and so with 3 large jumps, is gone.

P's admiring her ability to jump as Piglet's having a helluva ride inside, getting a bit too jangled every time Kanga lands. When she gets home, and finds Piglet, she's scared at first, but then decides CR would never let anything happen to Roo, so if they were joking with her, she'd joke back. She acts like Piglet is Roo as she readies him for sleep, Piglet responding with an Aha, which Kanga doesn't seem to get. She states Piglet'd have a bath first, he trying another failed Aha, and also not seeing the others.

P is still practicing jumps at the top of the forest's sandy spot, and Rabbit is playing with Roo at his place, and bonding with him. Kanga continues pretending Piglet's Roo, giving him a cold bath and getting soap in his mouth before CR comes through the door, and gives away where Roo is, but then after assuring Piglet he is who he'd been saying he was to Kanga, he says he wasn't the normal color. Piglet almost reveals it's due to having a bath, but thinks better of it, since CR and Kanga are having fun pretending Piglet could actually be a relative of P's, so Piglet runs home, and rolls the rest of the hundred yards there to regain his comfy color back. So, from then on, Tue's Roo'd spend with his buddy Rabbit, Piglet would hang with CR, and P'd be taught to jump by Kanga, everyone happy.

1 day P goes to the top of the Forest to ask CR if he had interest in Bears, he having made up a new song, "Sing Ho! For the life of a Bear", but couldn't figure out what the next lines should be, he hoping saying the 1st line twice'd force the next lines out without him thinking. He turns out correct, changing it into a hum so it didn't get old. CR then asks for P to sit against his back so he didn't keep falling over trying to put his Big Boots on, P knowing this meant an Adventure loomed, so he shaped up to seem Ready for Anything. CR shares they were going on an Expedition to locate the North Pole.

So, CR has P get everyone to go, he readying his gun, and make sure the others had Provisions. When CR explains Provisions is things to eat, P goes off to inform everyone, 1st meeting Rabbit. He tells him the plan and asks him to inform Kanga, he going to Piglet's. Pig is nervous about what they'd be searching for, but would come because CR'd be there.

When they're all present in the Forest, with Rabbit's friends and relatives coming along, as well. P is the only 1 not chatting for making up a song which he shares with Piglet who is walking next to him. CR then has them all 'hush', they having come to a stream, which could hid Danger of an Ambush. When they'd reached the stream, CR noticed the perfeck stretch to have them all rest, so calls a Halt.

CR then allows for it being time to rip into their rations, Eeyore not having any, so goes after the thistles P is sitting on. Then, Roo falls into the stream as he's washing his face after eating, saying to watch him swim to Kanga every time he's in a different pool after going down a waterfall. P and Kanga find a pole to hold across the stream, and Roo is able to climb out. CR figures the pole P'd discovered was the N 1, and so they replant it with a sign written by CR saying, N Pole discovered by Pooh, Roo getting a hot bath when he got home, and P celebrating with a little something.

Next time, it's been raining the longest time Pig's experienced in his 3/4 years. It's been days and he's regretting not being stuck with someone so he didn't have to suffer the rain alone. He is also nerved by the water amount and being smoll, everyone else having a talent to help them escape. He lastly wonders what CR'd do in this situation, the water level below his window.

Piglet reminds himself when CR tells him of a man who put a message in a bottle, he now considering the same, and maybe he'd get lucky. So, he locates a bit of paper, bot, and pencil, and writes the simple message: Help! Piglet (Me), then the other side the same in a variation of the former message. He stops up the bot, and chucks it out his window seeing it vanish in the distance, knowing he's done all he could. He thought again how nice it'd be to chat with P, who's currently sleeping through all the rain.

After discovering the N Pole, he's told by CR there're other poles for the other directions, so P began search for the E, and exhausts himself, so goes home to eat, falling asleep after only a half hour of nosh, and keeps sleeping. He had a dream where he slept in a hive with his legs hanging out, and Wild Woozles who lived in the E Pole nibbled at the fur on his legs, and his legs got cold, til he woke, seeing the water inside, so saving his 10 pots of honey, and sits on a branch in his tree. A couple days pass, and P's down to 4 pots, 3 days after this, he's got a single pot, 4 days after, he sees Pig's floating bot, and jumps for it for thinking honey was inside. When he sees the note, he thinks of the readers he knew, so has an idea to use his biggest jar as a boat to float him to his buddy, CR's house.

CR's currently spending his time by placing sticks in the ground where the water came up to, each day his walk shorter in tracking the excess rain. He has a chat with a passing Owl, and he informs him of P not currently at home, P speaking up, he showing CR the message after they greet each other with a hug. CR sends Owl to Piglet to share help was coming, and P suggests they use CR's umbrella as a boat, and being successful. Meanwhile, Pig's being bored to actual sleep as Owl distracts him with a story about his aunt, and almost falls out the window, but pulls himself back in, waking just in time before hitting the water, and seeing P, and CR come to his rescue.

CR whistles a particular way and Owl pops out, CR confiding he's hosting a party. It'd be for Pooh's heroic deed of saving Piglet in the flood, he asking Owl to inform everyone it'd be the next day. Owl goes off, 1st telling P, who's proud, and then worried, making up an Anxious Pooh Song. Despite this, everyone gets there, and they all eat, and chat, CR making a speech which's a bit vague on who they're honoring, and as he searches for the present he had, Ee starts talking like CR'd been talking about him.

At least until CR finds his gift and has it passed to Pooh. When he finally gets it open, since he wanted to save the string, he's quite pleased with the pencil set he'd been gifted. Later as everyone leaves, P, and Pig are on their way home when Pig asks what P's 1st thought is in the morning, it being what's for breakies, and when asked in return, Pig says his was wondering what exciting thing'd happen today. 2nd half of book has intro, Pooh sitting in his chair thinking Grandly of Nothing, nodding off and walking in the Forest.

Anyone who is Friendly with Bears will be able to find the Forest. Opening to a song of snow (Tiddely pom). He then decides to pop home, get warm scarf, and go to Ee to sing his new song. When he goes home to grab a muffler, he notices Pig in his chair, he almost thinking he's in the wrong house, he then offering a snack before inviting him along to sing his song to Ee. When the 2 are walking, and it's snowing, Pig's about to speak (but I get 2 blank pages), when the 2 can talk again for feeling warmer, Pooh mentions how sing Ee didn't have a house, perhaps they should build 1 for him.

Pig suggests collecting the bunches of sticks on another part of the Forest, which Pooh states is a Great Help, so they attend to this, directly. Meanwhile, CR just got back from 'going to Africa', when Ee shows up telling of how cold it is outside, and not having a house to shelter in on his field. When Ee share's he'd made a home earlier in the day, and it was gone later in the day, CR puts on his kit to go have a look. When getting there and finding nothing, CR hears P and Pig singing a revised version of P's song, which includes the line of having finished their house.

CR calls to them, and they eventually get to having placed Ee's house at a warmer part of the wood, Ee happy to see it and thinking the wind blew it there, saying it's also warmer in some spots. CR then has lunch with Pig and P, confessing their Awful Mistake, which CR laughs at, and then singing P's Outdoor Song for Snowy Weather. P's woken in the night, and after checking his honey pots are secure, goes back to bed, but not sleep, since the sound could still be heard. This time he tries his front door, and meets a new Strange Animal.

Finally P intro's himself, and he meets Tigger, who he invites in after learning CR knew he's knocking about the Forest, and then goes back to bed. In the morning, Tig's looking at himself in the mirror and thinks his reflection's a 2nd Tig, P trying to explain, but not fast enough before Tig fights P's tablecloth, P unwrapping Tig from it. Then, after trying and not liking honey, to P's relief, but feigned regret, he finishes his portion, before taking Tig around to Pig's to try hay-corns, Tig also claiming this was his best-liked food. After they go, and try it though, they find he also doesn't like hay-corns.

So, Pig suggests thistles, which Tig agrees with, so they walk him to Ee's. When Ee hears their reason, he offers Tig a try of a thistle bush he was saving for his b/day, but Tig learns he doesn't like thistles, either, also getting stung by a bee. Pig and P decide to go see CR, who is with Kanga. After she invites Tig to taste test what's in her cupboard, and finding nothing, they learn Tig ends up liking Roo's medicine, Extract of Malt, he having this and a few bites of Roo's breakies for Strengthening, living with them from now on.

P is counting his honey when rabbit calls asking if he'd seen one of his "friends and relations", Small, and when confirming he hadn't, invites P to a search party for him, which CR asked Rabbit to organize. He next tells P the area he's to search until getting to Owl's house, then leaves him to it. P's left to wonder how smoll Small is, thinking he'd look for Pig to ask before searching for Small. He organizing the ordering of which he'd be searching for the others, Pig now 1st. P then steps on something which trips him into flying and landing on someone.

After a bit where P thought he's talking and learning he's sitting on Piglet, gets up, and the 2 determining their new, dark surroundings. Pig plants the idea they could be in a trap which P then thinks is made by a Heffalump for him, the 2 thinking of what response P'd give to the Heffa, who'd notice P, and say "Ho-ho!", and P deciding he'd merely hum as reply. Pig's imagination runs off this idea to where he'd found himself brave enough to speak with his imaginary Heffa, as the search for Very Small Beetle, a.k.a. Small, is still going, he vanishing behind a gorse-bush when hanging out with CR, and never returning, everything thinking he'd gotten lost. CR wonders where P's at, and soon locates the 2 in the Gravel Pit, ho-hoing at them, and scaring Pig.

When P comes out from his revery, he notices CR, and a tickling on his back, Pig embarrassed for thinking CR was a Heffa, but happy when praised for finding Small on Pooh's back, they all leaving the Gravel Pit hand in hand. Lastly Rabbit updates Ee 2 days later of having found Small, this not surprising Ee.

P's stop starting on which buddy to see 1st, decides to see Ee 1st, but changing his mind to check on Owl, then remembering it's been quite awhile longer, since he'd seen Roo, but next sets his attn on Rabb, so goes back across from halfway the stream to Rabb's, but diverts himself with the possibility of Rabb not being home or getting stuck in his door again, since he isn't getting fatter, but his door may be getting thinner, and doesn't notice he'd changed direction, ending up back at his own door. So, he stops in for a snack, then goes to Pig's, singing about being off to see Pig. He spots a Piglet digging a hole, and greets him, which he surprises Pig for he being in the middle of planting a haycorn to grow an oak. After discussing whether P'd be able to do the same with a honeycomb to grow into a beehive, they head for Kanga, Roo, and Tig. As they're on their way, Kanga decides to Count Things, so sends Roo, and Tig out with sammies for each of them as Roo asks what Tiggers can do.

Tig leads them to Six Pine Trees with Roo still asking qs. The last to which, Tig feels confident to perform, climbing a tree as good as P, and he offering to carry Roo on his back, making it over 40 ft before stopping at the branch after the 1 which breaks at his grasping. Roo sits next to Tig and asks if they'll eat their sammies, Tig agreeing until hearing they'd left them at the base of the tree. P and Pig soon come by, P mislabeling the animal he saw up in the tree as a Jagular.

Pig gives away their IDs and when he hears his name called, recognizes Tig and Roo, P eating both Roo and Tig's sammies as he considered how he'd be able to carry Roo down, if he were to climb up, but not Tig, so thought consideringly as he et. Fortunately, CR and Ee next walk by as P's starting the last sammie. They quickly relay what's happening with Roo and Tig, CR coming up with the plan to use his tunic as a safety jump blankie for the 2. When Roo understood the assignment, he takes to it like he had everything else so far, happily, and ready to give it a go.

So, he quickly jumps 1st, and gets down easily, but bouncing a few times grandly, before getting to the ground, Tig not feeling like a flyer, and wishing he was in his other natural habitat, water. Finally, as Tig inches to the side of the branch, he hurts his foot, and falls, everyone landing on Ee, as he'd thought'd happen, and so manifested, he thanking Tig.

Rabb is going to be busy today, so he felt, like rushing about between friends and transporting messages and capt'ing advice, and feeling important today. Kanga's house is the closest, and whilst Roo pleased him most with his "Yes Rabbit, No Rabbit", Tig irked him, so he skipped them for now. Upon heading in CR's house direction, he thinks it's best to start with him to see if he needed anything done. Rabb greets his friends and relations when crossing a stream, waving g'bye to them as he continued.

When Rabb gets to CR's and knocks, then yells a greeting to no response, so is about to leave when seeing a bit of paper with a pin in it. Rabb picks it up happily and it says CR's gone out. He decides to go to Owl's house to share. Upon getting Owl to come to his door, Rabb is made to reveal to Owl what the 1st note from the day before had written on it, Rabb saying it was almost like the new one, but didn't know what it meant.

Owl takes a shot where he thought it said CR'd went out with Backson, and they're busy, so Owl asks if Rabb'd seen a Backson, he affirming he hadn't, and was hoping Owl could say. Owl attempts, but had nothing, so Rabb thanks him before leaving to see P. Rabb walks upon P mid-tune, he asking if he'd seen a Backson, which P had not, only Tig. Rabb then asks if he knew what CR did between 11a and 12p, P not knowing for being on his way home after breakfasting with CR by then, taking care of 1 or 2 Things to Do.

P slowly realizes after Rabb's qing, he hadn't seen what CR was up to between those hrs for awhile, recently, so Rabb goes off to locate Ee whilst P waited for Pig. Turns out Rabb runs into Pig 1st, who's collecting violets for Ee, since he'd probably never had anyone do this for him. When he goes to offer them to Ee, he's turned away til the next day or after for Ee being busy, but Pig looking at what he's up to involving 3 sticks on the ground. Ee shares it's the letter 'A', and has a good rant on it meaning Education, and wasn't for P's or Pigs, Rabb then walking up to inquire the same to Ee, he asking Rabb in return what he thought the sticks are, calling it sticks, to which Ee then replies to Rabb's q, and saying CR gets Educated in mornings, which Rabb then is ready to spread this news.

Ee gets annoyed when Rabb's second guess of it being a sloppy-looking A dumbs the whole idea of Education and Learning, breaking his sticks, and making Pig more nervous, so he says he likes Violets alright, and leaves them in front of Ee before hurrying away. Next day a better spelled sign from CR reads, Gone Out, Back Soon, the Forest now knowing what CR did in the morning.

A fair-sized bridge over the river is CR's fave spot to see the water slowly go by. 1 day P's looking at fir-cones and trying to make some poetry rhyme with it, struggling and taking a fir-cone with him to the bridge, but losing it, and watching as it floated by on the water. So, he spends his time racing different-sized cones under the bridge, asking bets with himself how many times he'd made the right guess of winning cone. This birthed the game of Poohsticks, since they're more easily tracked.

So,1 day, P's playing Poohsticks with Rabb, Roo, and Pig, but the river seemed extra lazy today, taking awhile to see the winner. P sees Pig's stick 1st, and then much time passes and they notice Ee floating out from under the bridge, feet up, which Roo calls out 1st. Eventually they learn Ee needed help out, so they use P's plan to drop a stone to see if it'd make a wave for Ee to get pushed to shore by. It does work, after sinking Ee first, Pig's stick just winning from Rabb's stick, which float by as Ee can be seen rambling to shore.

They also learn Ee'd been bounced loudly, which made him slip into the river in the 1st place. Roo asks who did it, which Pig guesses Tig, Ee not denying this, and then Tig approaches them from behind some bushes. They deduce Tig claims the bounce is actually a cough, but Ee hoped he could do this somewhere else, Rabb noticing CR, who he thought could settle this. The way CR diffuses this is by offering a game of Poohsticks, which Ee won a grand # of, Roo falling into the river, but jumping in once more when he sees Kanga coming from the Forest, and bed'd be soon.

CR, P, and Pig laze at the river, and Pig states how Tig's actually ok, CR agreeing with he and P's assessments of everybody being ok. 1 day, P, Pig, and Rabb are listening to Rabb outside P's door, but P gets distracted by nature sounds as Rabb devises they get Tig unbounced, Pig agreeing. P's asked for his support and opinion which the 2 learn he hadn't been following Rabb's rant, but no one knowing yet how to do it. Rabb decides they should lead Tig to a part of the forest he hadn't been, ditch him, and return in the morning, which'd surely change him.

So, all they had to do is make Tig feel small for at least 5 mins, since Tig's bounce back from this emotion quickly according to Owl. Rabb decides they'd take Tig to the North Pole, which P'd discovered. So, Rabb goes over to Kanga's to tell Tig of their outing the next day, it being an overcast day. When the trio go to collect Tig, Rabb has to get Kanga to keep Roo home, he almost joining them.

The group goes off with Tig running around them part of the way, and running back and forth in front of them, when the path narrows. Rabb devises when they'd hide from Tig as he charged ahead of them, and back, Rabb also having them run a bit in the direction of home before chatting again, but soon realizes after almost an hr it's seeming they could be lost. Meanwhile, Tig gets bored of being alone, and goes back to Kanga's, she giving him his Strengthening Medicine before he and Roo are told by Kanga to fetch some fir cones for her with a basket, the 2 roughhousing inside, and getting too rowdy. Instead of returning with the basket, they'd left it at Six Pine Trees, after throwing fir cones at each other.

CR asks after P as the trio are near done with dinner, he deducing the other trio'd gotten lost as he listened to Tig and Roo talking at the same time about to different subjects. Roo's again denied being able to help look, and practices jumps in a corner to show he didn't mind when the 2 left. Meanwhile, Rabb and the duo are continually finding a small sand pit. When Rabb goes off on his own to relocate the sand pit again, like P'd suggested, he and Pig try again to go home, and succeed, being met with CR through the mist.

CR follows P home, and watches him whilst Tig is out rounding up a relieved Rabb for seeing a Helpful Tigger. There's a Thoughtful Spot between P's and Pig's houses, which P made a poem to explain. 1 fall morning, it'd been quite windy during the night, leaving the trees leafless, P, and Pig wondering at their spot of what they should do, P wanting to check Ee, and see if he needed his house rebuilt after the wind. Pig thought they should check in with CR, but he may not be home, so P makes up the excuse to wish everyone a Happy Thurs to drop by them all, so off they go.

1st, back to P's for a snack, then to Kanga's for lunch, hurrying through the buffeting wind after to Rabb's. They only stay a short time before moving along to CR, staying a long time and going to Ee's just before tea time, and have a proper tea with Owl. Ee makes it weird as the 2 greet him before moving on to Owl, Pig getting nervous being around so many trees with the wind so bad, it could knock down near them, P saying but what if it didn't, which comforts Pig enough to get them to Owl's door. They're sitting and chatting with P trying to not talk of tea time when Owl's house tips over.

Pig's asking P about whether Owl always had his letter box in his ceiling when Owl asks P if he'd done this, and P almost certain he hadn't. Pig has Owl help him get P from under an armchair, and they now must think how they'll exit, for the door being on the ceiling now. Pig doesn't look forward to the plan where he must see if he can squeeze through the letter box slot in the door, but when P said he'd have to write a song on Pig's success making him get over his fears, and his attempt successful, saying he'd be about half hour and back with CR to get the branch across the door moved, so Owl sits back to tell his story of his Unc Robert to P, who shuts his eyes.

P stands in front of what was formerly Owl's house, Rabb explaining the note P'd found under his front door, he having everyone help look for a new home for Owl, but P focusing on the song he'd promised Pig, since he could tell he remembered, and it'd been some days, and P could see it bothered Pig. Ee has the same chat with Rabb as P, Ee trying to guilt Rabb for not speaking to anyone for over a week, Rabb reminding Ee he could come visit them instead of waiting, and then moves along. P locates Pig, and he breaks the news of making the tune, pleasing Pig with how many verses he'd come up with: 7. P offers to sing it now or later, with them all listening, but Pig opts to hear it now, and then later with the others.

When he hears it, he's quite pleased, but 1 verse almost sounds like P'd thought Pig'd blanched at 1 point, but he explaining it had been Pig blanching for a sec inside, which is Brave, this satisfying Pig. The 2 go to Ow's old home and everyone's there doing demolition, P singing the tune to them, and Owl showing the name of his new home when he found it: The Wolery. Ee knocks into Owl, the sign falling over as he comes out of the trees. Ee directly speaks to CR about finding a house for Owl, but'd only accept Pig and P along because CR'd invited them, everyone else should wait, so as to give breathing room.

So, Rabb decides it'd leave him time to lead everyone left to getting the rest of Owl's items out. When Ee shows them the house, CR had a q for Pig, who's still high off P's song about him, so accepts Owl taking his home, P offering to let Pig move in with him.

CR is leaving the Forest and no one knew why. Rabb writes a notice and reads it to everyone individually about a meeting to resolve the matter, and he then asks Ee to speak at the meeting, he getting annoyed and feeling rushed. He reads his Poem, which says the same, no one knew why CR is leaving, but they send their love. The poem serves as their Rissolution, so they all sign it to present to CR.

They greet CR awkwardly for thinking about how it's already feeling like goodbye, Ee made to give his Poem and stuttering through explaining in broken sentences, then accusing the others of crowding him, and how CR wanted to be left alone. Ee leaves and the others follow except P, the 2 walking nowhere, and CR asking P what he liked to do most. P settles with going to CR's with Pig and having a chummy hummy day. They walk to Galleon's Lap, a group of 63 or 64 trees which was enchanted because CR couldn't be sure of the #, even counting carefully with string around each 1 in the large circle.

CR then sits with P and talks of Kings and Qs, which P'd been unaware and still unsure where CR is going. CR asks if P'd remember him no matter how old he got, and after promising, go off, and where ever they go, at the top of the enchanted Forest, a little boy and Bear always play.

A cute series, and I'm glad I read Tao of Pooh before this, it only enriched the stories.
