Jinn Warriors, Issue 1 - The Devil's War
By Marwan El Nashar

The Hitler fam just births a son, but the boy dies, his ma vowing her next kid would not serve Jesus' name. In the realm of the Blue Jinn, a newly made shaitan learns of Hitler, the big boss, Iblis ordering Lamadis to keep watch should she get preggers again. In another area of this realm, a white-bearded man, like Jesus, called Haredi decides it may be time to fight his oppressors. In this realm's desert, a Roman commander, Metellus is striving to continue on to the unknown, since he's already seen worse, or so he thinks, meeting a rock monster. Segue to Jinn warriors looking like Avatar training with bows with a lady looking like Wonder Woman, Ameena.
Then, baby Hitler is born, and his ma is crazed with keeping her boy safe, so vows to Lucifer to have him protected. Meanwhile, Haredi goes to chat with Ameena, of grim news. He, Ameena, and Zafoure speak indoors and regard Haredi's changed peaceful path to defend against Iblis the Jinn. Haredi tells of knowing at least 1 other human in the Jinn realm, pointing Ameena in the direction of the desert whilst he handled some spiritual business.
Metellus is currently battling some mouthy shaitans, but they capture him for Iblis. Meanwhile, Hitler is fighting in WW1, his mo. of pointing the finger at an enemy nigh. Metellus is helped by a Jinn warrior, but the shaitans notice, which doesn't matter, since Ameena backs them up with the other troops. As they fight together, Ameena and Metellus admire the other's bravery and strength.
After defeating the horde, Ameena agrees to share what she knew of these non-Earth lands to Metellus, since he doesn't know where they were. Back at the dwelling, Haredi is about to perform a ceremony so he could travel dimensions, and see how horrible it was on Earth. Hitler's coup in the military is stopped, and he serves a year in prison where he writes his autobio, Iblis backing Hitler's hate up. Metellus and group sit with Haredi where they explain the Jinn realm being a spirit world and they were the 1st humans to help fight against Satan.
Metellus isn't certain how he'd arrived, since the others had helped prophets whilst alive, so Ameena asks for his background. They learn he'd helped a boy who would become a prophet, Metellus having difficulty grasping the (non)logic. Haredi says the AA prayer because of what he sees Hitler accomplish with Iblis' help. Then, like filler, Haredi and Ameena argue childishly as Metellus tries to strategize, sort of, he stepping out instead, and the Jinn thinking they were all nuts.
Iblis was setting up his commander and horseman of the apocalypse, Genghis Khan as Hitler helps lead Germans into Satan's ranks. Each human then comes to their senses about needing to work together, a princess Hophelia coming to provide secret news to them. Basically, Metellus wishes to help fight, but they must time it with the fighting on Earth, as well as attempting a power play which has the 3 warriors separate their fighting efforts. Another page is wasted on formalities and walking on each others feelings before princess states the obv. of getting back to the point.
Before she departs, like she said she must do quickly a few times before, she gives them holy gifts to help each of them, lastly a helpful prayer, which are smattered throughout. Hitler is nearly assassinated by bomb, but Lamadis protects him from the blast, he also getting the okay to continue being a key player despite a past disappointment. Soldiers would soon be invading France by ocean, Ameena trying to quietly get into Khan's tent. Haredi uses a prayer to mask himself from the soldiers at Merneptah's camp.
Metellus and Zafoure are readying to fight full force at their enemy as the soldiers on Earth reach shore with another helpful psalm over a 2 page spread. Haredi tries to chat with the pharaoh, who thinks he'd planned to surprise him, the 2 fighting fisticuffs. Ameena gets to Khan who acts chauvinistically about having been sent a female warrior, he saying he doesn't need back up, but then has his men surround her upon his order, so she goes invisible and defeats them. Metellus and Zafoure are fighting like the men on Earth, until Metellus somehow travels to the Earth soldiers where 1 guy wishes to speak with him, Metellus helping them out by killing some enemies as the other soldiers watch in shock.
The young soldier thanks him before he shimmers back, the young man's faith stronger. Metellus returns to help defeat a huge dragon, he hearing Zafoure's signal, riding a huge falcon and giving Metellus a ride. Zafoure next must battle his best bud before he turned dark, Lamadis as Metellus finishes his task of throwing his Jesus net to calm the flames of hate on a mtn. Ameena doesn't have as much luck, and is soon grabbed by Khan, who keeps her under guard til he deals with another leader.
Meanwhile, Haredi is also having trouble using the fallen pharoah as Hitler goes into his bunker with Eva. As he's thinking about how this was finally their chance to be together as a married couple, she admits to having already dosed herself with cyanide, this throwing Hitler over the edge to shoot himself, but is stopped by Haredi. Hitler tries a shot at Haredi before he listens to what he has to share, Hitler again trying to off himself, as he attempts to convince him to give himself up and resign himself to his punishment and possible redemption. Hitler doesn't give in, though and uses a cyanide pill, instead.
When Ameena comes-to bound, she uses her power to release herself, if a little more weak from its use. Ameena then visits the leader of Japan, he not taking her respectful approach well, and siccing his soldiers on her. She lays them out, and again attempts peaceful chat, but the other soldiers want a violent taste first, so she takes them down, too. Finally, the leader attempts stabbing her and she tells of why she won't perish, and what his war was doing to his people.
Before she shimmers out, she again implores him to seek out a peaceful stepping away from the war. What follows are the historical facts of the bombings in Japan, as Iblis announces his displeasure at his hordes inability to defeat the humans. He punishes Lamadis, but is hopeful with the collecting of the 3rd Horseman, Famine. What follows is Ameena, Metellus, and Haredi's origins, which are covered in the 1st 4 issues.
Haredi sounds like the serious version of the Hebrew Hammer, which Metellus actually gets the nickname "Hammer" during his fight in the Jinn realm. Iblis is also acknowledged to becoming Satan. It was fine, action was alright but I'm not much for being constantly quoted scripture, regardless of which text one uses. Ok to pass.
