Timespirits #8
By Steve Perry

Where Doot and Cusick are left last issue, on the mtn of myths to fight off the Yeti clan and Oool, Cusick is declaring of Oool needing to be taken down for the danger he posed. Before anyone can make a move though, the Yetis push Cusick and Doot back off the cliff, Oool not wanting this, but it being the perfect way to escape... Once they fall to a point where their spell can stick, and upon doing so, they travel to a forest. Doot can't wake Cusick and thinks he's dead, whilst back with Oool, he decides to eat more Yeti, since they fucked up his timespirit meals.
As this occurs, Lama has maintained his divineness and travels seemingly through dimensions. Doot is attempting to shove Cusick's spirit back into his body, he getting help from Lama by getting them inside the maze of myths with Cusick. Before Oool sniffed them out to the opening, Lama closes the portal as he condescends to Oool of having thought he knew physical forms were the least important quality necessary. Oool is now irked and wants freedom, so makes a big mess of the village below the mtn, which Lama senses and becomes weakened, urging Doot to perform the ritual to bring Cusick back, which he does, time bending to allow a bit over 5 years to pass in the matter of a handful of mins, but finishing and Cusick being saved.
Oool has gotten comfy and powerful, wanting his turn to eat a timespirit, and be in full control of reality. Cusick shares of how they could change events in their favor by touching the null gem, erasing knowledge and messing with the environments ability to retard magic. The 2 confront Oool, and this time, Doot gets bit, so when Cusick goes for the null gem, he sees the fish had eaten it for he always ignoring him. Oool wants Cusick next, since he had more power, Lama catching the fish, and the 2 trading back bodies, Lama showing everyone de wey to the one above. Cusick must let Doot go, he following Lama, who says he could go back and reunite with Doot, but Cusick knowing Doot's fate would only end the same.
So, he figures he'd let Doot reincarnate and see if he can locate him again to start fresh. The last page has all the main characters come out onstage for a final bow to a full audience. It's a cute story, overall, and definitely more worth it for the art than story, which has waves of goodness. Onward!
