Hawken #3 of 6

Hawken is a rare sort which can spark hate from beyond the grave, he reaching Yellow Town in Lapida, and going into the bar. After ordering his spirit of choice, he hears a man yelling about Rojo being late with the horses. Hawken pipes up of knowing why Rojo's late, and the 2 fools into threatening him, so he puts them in their place, on the floor. Then, an Asian lady proprietor interrupts the 1 fool trying to threaten her with the sheriff, til she point to him passed out on the floor.

The 2 fools leave, and Mary invites Hawken to chat privately, he asking to speak with Wu Lung. She claims he isn't there, so Hawken starts shouting for him and saying he'd kill the staff, so she confesses he's dead because of Hawken and the ring. She further states he'd poisoned himself due to working for the ring. As for helping Hawken, she isn't interested, but since she tells of how well the ring had been treating her, and the community, Hawken believes he deserved some credit.

Mary makes it clear Hawken would make up for fucking them over, so he asks what she wanted. Sombre is on Hawken's trail, killing a man calling his horse ugly. Meanwhile, Hawken is about to see if Mary's directions are good, heading into a ravine with fallen trains. Mary plans on getting ultimate revenge on Hawken as he's being warned to not trust her. He discovers a box, inside some weird female and male ugly merpeople.

Certainly plenty of Asian racial slurs in this one. Despite the necessity to feel like one is in the American racist past, it's still great for the violent story!
